The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. James 5:16 Amplified
In Luke 11:1 we find that Jesus’ disciple said, “…Lord, teach us to pray…” If those who walked with Jesus and observed His prayer life, needed to be taught- surely the people of God need to be taught also.
Throughout the Scriptures we observe that many prayers were prayed in response to a variety of situations. Also, reference is made to various methodologies that were applied. Indeed, there is more than one way to pray. It is not our intention to reduce prayer to rigid and ritualistic formulas, but we do want our prayers to “make tremendous power available”.
In Prayer School we look at the kinds of prayers we see in the Scriptures and we identify
Ø The kind of prayer
Ø The purpose for the prayer (what will be accomplished)
Ø Instructions that govern the various kinds of prayers
Ø Keys that guarantee answered prayer
Ø Protections against the situation described in James 4:3 (KJV)
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
The format for Prayer School varies according to your preference. We can do a “Prayer Overnighter”, evening classes, Saturday classes, etc. The venue can be our place or yours.
